The HOBBYWING XRotor Flight Controller F7 is a flight-control board for quadcopter integration, with an application range of FPVs above 300mm. Its 32*32mm footprint and 6.4g weight define the board’s physical integration requirements, while mounting patterns of 30 * 30MM and 20 * 20MM accommodate different frame layouts. Processing uses an STM32F722 MCU with a six-axis motion sensor. Flexible flat cable connections and shock absorption at the mounting holes address vibration reaching sensitive components, and the controller is designed to integrate with HOBBYWING tower 4in1 ESC hardware.
The controller includes a DJI image transmission port and its corresponding flat cable for connection without soldering. Its onboard configuration combines OSD, flash storage for flight logs, and dual BEC outputs rated at 5V @ 1.5A and 10V @ 1.5A. Voltage and current monitoring, external buzzer support and LED control provide additional integration functions. A built-in Pit Switch enables radio control of VTx power after configuration in FC software. Programming uses Betaflight/Cleanflight-configurator, with MicroUSB connectivity and the specified control modes and transmitter protocols defining its supported interfaces.
