XRotor 10A

Product overview

The HOBBYWING XRotor 10A is an electronic speed controller for 250 Class Multirotors. Its dedicated multirotor control software is designed to improve throttle response, with software optimization for multirotor motors. The controller combines a 10A continuous current rating with a 15A peak rating and accepts 2-3S LiPo batteries. It has no BEC output. Its physical architecture includes MOSFET power electronics with low internal resistance and a twisted-pair throttle signal cable designed to reduce interference during signal transmission.

International and Asian configurations each include Version A and Version B. Both Version A configurations measure 32.0x16.7x8.2mm and weigh 9g; both Version B configurations measure 44.0x16.7x8.2mm and weigh 8g. All configurations have one red and one black 20AWG input wire, each 100mm long, without input connectors. Version A includes three black 20AWG output wires, each 100mm long, while Version B has no output wires. All four configurations specify female 2.0mm gold output connectors.

The XRotor 10A supports throttle signal frequencies up to 621Hz, throttle range calibration and stick programming. Timing is adjustable between High and Intermediate, while the other settings are preset. DEO and OneShot mode are unsupported, and the light-color and motor-rotation features are also unsupported. These control features are shared across the International and Asian A and B configurations, which also share the same 10A/15A current ratings, 2-3S LiPo battery specification and absence of BEC output.
