The HOBBYWING RTF F7 FC 8S Lite is a flight controller for 5–18 inch, four-axis FPV drones. It combines an STM32F722 processor with an ICM-42688 gyroscope and six UART interfaces for connecting peripherals. Four motor outputs are available by default, with two additional outputs accessible through CH5 and CH6. An onboard 16Mb black-box chip records flight data for PID and filter adjustment, while the Betaflight firmware target is HOBBYWING_XROTORF7CONV. The board measures 35 × 35 × 7.7mm, weighs 10g and uses a 30.5 × 30.5mm mounting pattern with M4 holes.
Peripheral power is provided through 5V 3A and 10V 3A BEC outputs for devices such as GPS modules, receivers and video transmitters; high-power video transmitters can take power directly from BAT. Digital video transmitter connections support plug-and-play use with DJI, WALKSNAIL and HDEZERO equipment, while analog video transmitter control supports Smart audio and Tramp. Damping balls address high-frequency vibration, and a rear-mounted barometer has a typical accuracy of ±0.3 hPa. The controller also includes an AT7456E OSD chip and supports LED strip control and a BEEP buzzer.
