Product overview
The HOBBYWING RTF F7 FC 8S Lite V2 is a flight controller for integration into an FPV drone. Its 35x35x7.7mm board weighs 10.4g and uses a 30.5x30.5mm mounting pattern with M4 holes. The supplied configuration includes damping grommets, an STM32F722 processor, an ICM-42688 gyroscope and an AT7456E OSD chip. A regulator upstream of the gyroscope reduces electrical noise, while a Goertek barometer sits underneath the board to reduce airflow interference. The barometer has a typical accuracy of ±0.3 hPa.
Integration options include six UARTs and six dedicated plug-and-play ports for peripherals including ELRS receivers, GPS, LEDs, servos, VTX modules and an ESC. Motor signalling provides four outputs by default, with two additional outputs on ch5 and ch6. The BEC supplies 5V 3A and 12V 3A outputs; high-power VTX modules can draw power directly from BAT. Smart audio and Tramp protocols, LED control and beeper support are provided. Onboard blackbox logging supports PID and filter tuning, with capacity specified as 16Mb and described as 16MB for the flash memory.
