Product overview
The HOBBYWING Platinum HV 200A OPTO V4 is a high-voltage brushless electronic speed controller for 700-800 class helicopters and giant-scale fixed-wing airplanes. Its electrical specification combines 200A continuous and 250A peak current with a 6-14S LiPo input. The aluminum enclosure incorporates cooling slots and fins, while a duo stacking arrangement transfers heat from components on both sides of the circuit boards into the case. A 32-bit processor provides motor speed governing with adjustable sensitivity for helicopter setup.
Installation requires space for a 106.0x50.0x40.0mm controller weighing 305g. The wiring configuration comprises one red and one black 10AWG input lead, each 150mm long, plus three black 10AWG output leads of the same length. Input and output connectors are absent, and there is no BEC output. A separate programming port supports an LCD program box or WiFi module; transmitter, LED card and LED box programming are unsupported. Firmware upgrades are supported, and a built-in sparkproof circuit suppresses sparks at power-on.
