The HEQ K8-V2 Gimbal Camera is a compact imaging payload for UAV integration. Its physical architecture combines a wide-angle camera with three-axis mechanical stabilization, weighing 115g ±5g. The camera uses a 1/2.8-inch sensor with 8MP effective pixels, an 8mm focal length and an F1.6 aperture. Imaging capabilities include 40× hybrid zoom and 4K video at 30fps. AI recognition and automatic tracking support observation of people, vehicles and other targets, giving the payload both image-capture and target-following functions.
Integration provisions include Ethernet, serial port and SBUS interfaces, with the HEQ proprietary communication protocol specified. The payload requires 12V-18V power and consumes 7W. Software travel is limited to pitch from -90° to +30° and yaw from -120° to +120°, within wider mechanical ranges. The operating temperature range is -40℃ to +65℃, and protection is rated IP44. Recording formats are JPG for TF card photographs and MP4 for TF card video, with H.264 and H.265 encoding supported.
