Product overview
The HC-525 is built for fully automatic patrol work. When equipped with the relevant devices, it can handle power line inspection, pipeline inspection, land surveying and mapping, forest fire prevention and reconnaissance patrol. Its modular airframe is made from carbon fiber composite, and the design allows easy disassembly and assembly. The aircraft integrates the advantages of multi-rotor and fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles. It is not affected by the limitations of takeoff and landing sites, and it offers extended flight endurance. Rated endurance is 90-120 minutes and rated payload is 1.5-3kg. Precise takeoff and landing and intelligent autonomous flight are listed among its features.
For ground infrastructure, the HC-525 is compatible with the SU-50 Intelligent Automatic Unmanned Airport. Its flight control system pairs a flight control computer with a micro GPS/INS integrated navigation system. It supports one-key automatic takeoff, landing, hovering, circling, return, altitude hold and parachute opening, as well as autonomous cruise on scheduled routes, beyond-line-of-sight automatic flight and online flight mode switching. The aircraft can carry different payloads for different purposes. Honeycomb Aerospace's UAV payload range includes: - single-, dual- and triple-lens electro-optical cameras - oblique and orthophoto mapping cameras - a multi-line laser radar - third-party customized loads Some capabilities depend on which payload is fitted.
