The GEPRC RAD Tiny 5.8G 400mW VTX is a compact video transmitter for medium and short distance UAV flights. Its 14mmx18.5mm module weighs 1.1g excluding the antenna, allowing installation in tight spaces. Integration uses a DC 5V supply, with a 5V camera power output and a UFL antenna connection. The transmitter supports PAL/NTSC video, 48 channels and IRC Tramp control. Three selectable transmission levels—25mW, 200mW and 400mW—are accompanied by PIT mode, while OSD adjustment and a physical button provide parameter control.
The supplied package contains one transmitter, a black 1.13 copper tube antenna, SH1.0-5P and SH1.0-3P plug silicone cables, and a manual. This is an electronics module package for integration into an aircraft. Although its small footprint offers installation flexibility, the surrounding space must permit air convection and heat dissipation: overheating protection can reduce transmission power or shut transmission off. Before applying power, the installation should have the correct supply voltage and polarity, with an antenna fitted at the RF output.
