The GEPRC MATEN 3.3G 4W VTX PRO is a video transmitter intended for long range flight installations. It provides 48 channels across 3000-3500MHz, with selectable 25mW, 200mW, 1600mW and 4000mW output settings plus Pit mode. Configuration options include direct frequency entry through the configurator and OSD parameter adjustment using IRC Tramp. A function adjustment button and three indicator lights provide local controls and indication. These features support integration into an aircraft’s video transmission system.
The transmitter combines a CNC aluminum alloy housing with a built-in micro turbofan for heat dissipation. Its 57×31.5×17.5mm envelope and 36g weight define the component’s space and mass requirements, while 20x20mm and 25.5×25.5mm mounting patterns both use M2 fasteners. Electrical integration uses a DC12-36V input for a 3-8S battery, an SMA antenna connection and an SH1.0 six-pin cable interface. A separate 5V@600mA output is restricted to powering a camera or cooling fan.
The supplied configuration contains one transmitter, one 150mm SH1.0 six-pin VTX cable and one user manual. An antenna must be installed before operation. Although the unit includes active cooling and temperature protection, flight operation still requires constant airflow and good ventilation to prevent overheating; confined installations require a cooling fan. Wiring must also keep battery input away from the 5V output, because connecting battery power there will severely damage the transmitter.
