The Foxeer BOX 2 combines an IMX377 Exmor-R CMOS 12MP sensor with a Hisilicon DSP specified for 4K/30fps. Its F2.8 lens uses 7G glass and a 155-degree field of view, with wide, medium and narrow viewing selections. Recording options include normal video, time-lapse, loop recording and slow motion: 4 x at 1080P 100/120fps or 8 x at 720P 200/240fps. BMI160 electronic stabilization and switchable WDR accompany adjustable metering, white balance, exposure compensation, ISO limit, sharpness, contrast and saturation.
The camera occupies a 40 × 40 × 40mm envelope and weighs 79g, defining its space and mass requirements for installation. It has IP64 protection, a built-in 950mAh 3.8V battery, a 5V–10V input range and a stated full-charge time of 45 minutes. Connections include USB Type-C with TV output, Micro HDMI and WiFi, with the Foxeer HD app for GooglePlay and iOS. The supplied package contains the camera, Type-C cable, manual, curved and flat adhesive mounts, and a case. Storage requires a U3-or-above SD card up to 128G; the card is excluded.
