The FlashHobby Spaceman 20A ESC, item 30020, controls brushless propulsion in airplane and helicopter installations. It is a speed-control component, rather than a complete flight platform or airframe kit. Startup can be set to Normal, Soft or Super-Soft, with respective times of 300ms, 1.5s and 3s. Normal suits fixed-wing aircraft, while the slower settings suit helicopters. If the throttle is completely closed with the stick at the bottom position and reopened with the stick at the top position within three seconds after the first startup, restart temporarily switches to Normal mode. Motor timing offers Low, Medium and High settings at 3.75°, 15° and 26.25° respectively. Low generally suits most motors, while High can be selected for higher speed.
