Product overview
The EHang 216F (Firefighting Model) is a firefighting flight platform for urban high-rise response. The aircraft measures 7.33 m long, 5.61 m wide and 2.13 m high, and its fuselage structure uses epoxy carbon fiber composite material. Its firefighting configuration combines a 100 L liquid extinguishing system, six dry-powder projectiles, laser aiming equipment and a visible-light camera with 10x zoom. Maximum cruising speed is 130 km/h, designed endurance is 21 minutes, and a full charge takes ≤120 minutes.
The liquid system carries microbial water-based or foam extinguishing agent. Its high-pressure nozzle sprays 100 liters into a high-rise building over 3.5 minutes, with laser aiming directed toward the fire point. The six aluminum-alloy projectiles contain ABC superfine dry powder and operate with a window breaker that opens an air channel. Their extinguishing method combines slow release, powder atomization and total flooding. The projectile assembly has fully sealed construction with waterproof, moisture-proof, dustproof, anti-static and electromagnetic-interference protection. The camera supports remote fire identification and rescue planning.
Operational integration centers on fire-station deployment and EHang's command-and-control system. The deployment arrangement covers high-rise fires within a 3 km radius of a station, with direct takeoff after an alarm. Centralized fleet management supports dispatch, alternating spray operations and preliminary investigation for further remote tasks. Component backup systems provide redundancy, with contingency capability encompassing stable flight and continued firefighting during power loss and GPS signal loss. The aircraft also supports rescue tasks in high temperature, smoke, wind and rain.
