The DYS Mini F4 flight controller provides flight-control and OSD functions on a board measuring 30mm long by 27mm wide, with 20 × 20mm mounting hole spacing. Its net weight is 6g without cable. The physical architecture combines an STM32F405 processor, an SPI-connected MPU600 six-axis sensor, and a six-layer PCB with 3OZ copper intended to improve current handling and heat dissipation. Included heat-resistant damping ball hardware provides a vibration-damping provision for installation.
The controller supports Betaflight and can use DYS F4 PRO firmware, with separate ESCs forming the supported integration arrangement. Its microcontroller operates the OSD chip over SPI, while BF configuration software supports OSD flashing and debugging. A remote control can be used to view flight controller parameters through the OSD. SmartAudio and IRC Tramp support enables VTX frequency and power adjustment; support for a new DYS VTX is described as future functionality. Power provisions comprise 2–4S LiPo input, a TVS device with an anti-ignition function, and a 5V supply rated up to 2A.
