Product overview
The DYS MB30040 is a multicopter speed controller carrying the model designation 40A HV ESC. Its supplied configuration includes updated SimonK firmware, with the dedicated tgy_debug multicopter program handling motor control. The controller measures 55mm long, 26mm wide and 13mm high and weighs 39g, defining the component envelope for integration into an aircraft. Its power stage combines a driver transistor and high-power MOS transistors with a separate MOS heat sink. A separate voltage-regulator IC serves the microprocessor, while a high-stability crystal oscillator supports precise motor control.
Electrical integration requires a DC 6–22.2V input, specified for 2–6S Lixx batteries, and the BEC designation is OPTO. Continuous output is 40A; the 60A burst rating is limited to 10 seconds. Supported maximum motor speed depends on pole count: 210000 RPM for two poles, 70000 RPM for six poles and 35000 RPM for twelve poles. The low-resistance PCB and power-input design support current handling and power stability. At power-on, the motor does not start immediately, regardless of throttle-stick position.
