DJI RC Pro 2 places flight and camera controls around a folding 7.02-inch touchscreen. Opening the screen powers on the controller and unfolds its sticks. The upper-mounted display tilts and rotates, with synchronized vertical gimbal shooting available when paired with DJI Mavic 4 Pro. Its 1920×1200 panel runs at 60fps and supports 10-point touch, with 2000-nit brightness at APL 10% and 1600-nit sustained brightness. Folded dimensions are 182 × 139 × 61 mm, and weight is approximately 750 g.
Connections include standard HDMI video output, a microSD slot and USB-C for charging or computer connection. Built-in equipment includes a speaker, microphone, 44.64 Wh battery and 128GB storage, with approximately 100GB usable. PD charging supports up to 65 W; full charging takes 1.5 hours with the DJI 65W Portable Charger. Operating duration is up to four hours, measured in a 25°C laboratory with DJI Mavic 4 Pro in normal flight and 1080p/60fps recording enabled. Operating temperature is -10°C to 40°C; charging requires 5°C to 40°C.
The multibeam high-gain antenna arrangement provides two transmit and four receive channels. O4/O4+ transmission depends on aircraft pairing; connecting aircraft other than Mavic 4 Pro changes the transmission technology and distance to match that aircraft. Supported models include Mavic 4 Pro, Mini 5 Pro, Mini 4 Pro, Air 3S and Air 3. Optional DJI Mic equipment and enhanced transmission modules require separate purchase. Enhanced transmission is limited to mainland China; module 3 requires eSIM identity verification for third-party mobile internet access, otherwise restricting mobile access to DJI Fly content.
