The DJI MG-1S is an agricultural flight platform with a spray system built around a 10 L tank, a standard 10 kg working payload and four nozzles. Its folding-arm frame has a 1515 mm symmetrical motor wheelbase and measures 1471 × 1471 × 482 mm when unfolded without propellers. Folding the arms reduces those dimensions to 780 × 780 × 482 mm. The specified battery installation space is 151 × 195 × 70 mm, providing a concrete constraint for battery integration.
The specified spraying configuration uses XR11001VS nozzles rated at 0.379 L/min; TX-VK8 is the recommended alternative at 0.525 L/min. XR11001VS droplet size spans 130–250 μm depending on operating conditions and spray rate. Terrain-following radar measures height over a 1–5 m range, with variation across vegetation, and provides a 1.5–3.5 m height-holding range. A spreading system can also be fitted, but requires landing-gear extensions included with that system. The MG-1S pump and radar are not interchangeable with MG-1P components.
The aircraft weighs 10 kg without its battery and has a standard takeoff weight of 23.8 kg. With a 12000 mAh battery, hover endurance is 22 minutes at 13.8 kg or 10 minutes at 23.8 kg, measured near sea level in wind below 3 m/s. Maximum working speed is 7 m/s, while obstacle avoidance has lower speed thresholds tied to flight height. The DLG60A controller supports simultaneous aircraft and Wi-Fi connections, but cannot control multiple aircraft or install third-party software.
