The DJI AS1 Speaker is an aircraft-mounted loudspeaker for voice communication during tasks such as emergency search and rescue. It supports live speech, recorded messages, imported media with playback during transfer, and text-to-speech, currently limited to Chinese and English. Live broadcasting and echo suppression require all devices to have the latest firmware. Maximum power is 15 W. Its maximum loudness of 114 dB at 1 metre and effective broadcast distance of 300 metres were measured in laboratory conditions at 25°C; performance varies with software version, audio content and operating environment.

The AS1 supports DJI Matrice 4T, Matrice 4E, Matrice 4D and Matrice 4TD aircraft and can be used alone or combined with the DJI AL1 SpotLight. It weighs 92.5 g with its bracket or 90 g without it; Matrice 4D series installation does not require the bracket. Quick-release hand-tightened mounting screws must be secured to maintain the interface seal, with additional tightening using the supplied hex key for dock operations. After installation, online activation and aircraft compass calibration are required, along with firmware updates when prompted. The speaker operates from -20°C to 50°C and has an IP55 protection rating.

Installing the speaker affects aircraft propulsion performance and endurance. Voice playback through the standard remote controller is recommended, while single-frequency tones can permanently damage the speaker. Its high volume means it must not be used at close range or in urban areas with concentrations of noise-sensitive buildings, where it could cause injury or danger. To combine the AS1 with the AL1 SpotLight, remove the speaker's bottom adapter bracket, attach the speaker to the spotlight's upper interface and tighten the screws.
