Product overview

The CUAV X25 EVO Flight Controller is an industrial-grade control component from CUAV Tech Inc., Ltd. For unmanned aircraft, ground vehicles, vessels and underwater vehicles. It supports ArduPilot and PX4 firmware, with aircraft applications including multirotors, fixed-wing aircraft and VTOL fixed-wing aircraft. Its hardware combines a 480MHz STM32H7 Arm Cortex-M7 processor with 3 IMUs, 2 barometers and an RM3100 electronic compass. The controller incorporates dual temperature compensation and a damping system with external mounting-ear shock absorption. It measures 76.5 × 45.45 × 32.2 mm and weighs 110g.

The X25 EVO accepts 10V–18V controller power and has a specified operating temperature range of -20°C to +85°C. Its standard PMU 2 Lite power module accepts 20V–70V input and measures current up to 220A; this input range is distinct from the controller's supply range. Connections include 16 PWM outputs with selectable 3.3V or 5V signal levels, CAN buses, 100M Ethernet, two GPS ports, telemetry ports and USB Type-C. The controller does not supply servo power: servos require an external BEC connected to the shared positive and negative terminals of the M1–M16 output bank. ELRS/CRSF receivers connect through a UART serial port rather than RC IN.
