Product overview

The CUAV V5 nano flight controller provides the electrical integration point between vehicle power, motor or servo control, navigation peripherals and communication equipment. Its interface architecture includes separate M1~M8 and A1~A8 PWM output groups, I2C connections for devices such as an external compass, and CAN connections for UAVCAN peripherals. USB Type-C supports computer communication and firmware loading, while DSU7 exposes FMU debug information.

The kit configuration described includes an HV_PM power module supporting 2~10s LiPo batteries, an SBUS cable and a factory-installed SD card. Integration planning must accommodate the controller’s mounting orientation and a GPS/compass location away from other electronics. The recommended NEO v2 GPS combines navigation and safety-related peripherals, but its inclusion is not established. Procurement checks should address firmware-dependent PM2 support, compatible RC equipment for manual control, and safety-switch or external-buzzer requirements when the recommended GPS arrangement is not used.
