Product overview
The CUAV NEO 4 GNSS Module provides satellite positioning and compass sensing for integration into unmanned systems. Its u-blox MIA-M10Q receiver supports four concurrent navigation systems: Beidou, Galileo, GLONASS and GPS. Processing uses an STM32H5 Arm Cortex-M33 running at up to 250 MHz, alongside CUAV M4C GNSS firmware with upgrade support. The receiving architecture combines a TCXO, dual-channel LNA and RF filtering. Horizontal position accuracy is 1.5 m CEP; navigation updates reach up to 10 Hz with four concurrent GNSS or up to 25 Hz with a single GNSS.
The module occupies 64 × 64 × 16.95 mm and weighs 36.5 g, defining its installation envelope within a host system. Its integrated housing uses two-shot overmolding, with direct attachment and injection-molded bracket fixation as mounting options. Both methods can achieve IP67 protection, with the protection specification qualified as install on demand. A non-magnetic, screw-free snap-fit casing surrounds the electronics. The built-in ST IIS2MDC compass includes temperature offset compensation and a magnetic field dynamic detection range of up to +50 Gs.
The integrated configuration includes an eight-channel bus-controlled RGB light group and a buzzer for status indication, covering information such as controller unlock state, battery level, positioning and faults. Host integration uses DroneCAN through a GHR-04V-S data interface, with ArduPilot and PX4 supported. Electrical integration requires a 4.7–5.2 V supply, and the operating temperature range is -10 to +80 °C. Procurement should therefore treat NEO 4 as a positioning and compass module whose power, mounting and communications requirements must fit the intended unmanned system.
