Product overview
Firmware V620F1 or later makes PPP functionality standard on K8 series GNSS modules. The update also introduces SyncFrame technology for switching between RTK and PPP while maintaining coordinate consistency.
SyncFrame calculates and corrects the difference between RTK and PPP reference frames in real time. When positioning switches from RTK to PPP, a background engine calibrates PPP output to the RTK frame.
K8 series boards support BeiDou PPP-B2b and Galileo PPP-HAS. The announcement describes firmware that combines differential data from these services; PPP-HAS has global coverage, while PPP-B2b serves China and surrounding countries.
