Product overview
The CADDX Walksnail Ascent VRX, model WN02-FP018, is a ground receiver for the Ascent HD system. It brings received FPV video to goggles, monitors or televisions equipped with HDMI input, supporting uses such as teaching demonstrations, race broadcasts and content sharing. Its physical architecture combines a compact 114.5 × 64 × 24mm receiver with a high-gain dual circularly polarized antenna design. Receiver weight is 118g excluding antennas. The Red bird antenna specification lists left-hand circular polarization, 2dBi average gain and two RP-SMA connectors.
Integration provisions include HDMI, a MicroSD slot, DC5.5 × 2.1mm, SH1.0 × 6PIN and Type-C interfaces, with a 7.4–25.2V power input. HDMI output offers 1080p at 50 or 60fps and 720p at 50, 60, 100 or 120fps. The standard card slot supports up to 256GB, and built-in recording saves received 1080P video as MP4 using H.264 and ExFAT without an external DVR. Betaflight OSD integration and support for Betaflight and INAV provide flight-data display and parameter adjustment through the aircraft remote controller.
