Product overview
The BWSENSING BWA500C is a single-axis shaft-angle sensor for aircraft control-surface measurement, wind-tunnel testing and industrial inclination applications. Its enclosure uses anodized magnesium-aluminum alloy, an aviation connector and four M4 screws for mounting. Overall dimensions are L60 × W59 × H29 mm excluding the aviation connector, with weight ≤300 g and IP67 ingress protection. The stated product dimensions are subject to the actual physical product. Other applications include platform leveling, construction machinery, dam monitoring, slope disaster prevention, foundation-pit inclination measurement and tower tilt monitoring.
The BWA500C measures Y-axis angles over ±180°, with counterclockwise rotation positive and clockwise rotation negative. It provides 0.01° resolution, output rates ≤500 Hz, automatic calibration and selectable RS232, RS485 or TTL output. The serial communication rate is adjustable from 2400 to 921600. Accuracy is 0.03° without mounting error when the non-measurement X-axis angle is 0°. With mounting error, accuracy is 0.1° when X remains within ±50° and the measurement Y-axis angle remains within ±40°. Operating temperature is -40°C to +85°C, and storage temperature is -55°C to +100°C.
