Product overview
The BWSENSING BW-VG527E measures inclination for applications including unmanned aircraft, electro-optical pods and platform stabilization. Its packaged sensor body measures 97 × 63 × 27.2 mm, with a weight of 400g including the cable and 480g including packaging. This is a sensing component for integration into a larger system. Its measurement envelope covers pitch through ±90° and roll through ±180°, with separate accuracy specifications of 0.1° for dynamic measurement and 0.01° for static measurement.
Electrical integration requires a 9-36VDC supply, with operating current specified as 30mA and a maximum of 40mA. Communication uses RS485 with Modbus RTU, supporting serial rates from 2400 to 115200 baud and a maximum output frequency of 500Hz. Startup delay is below 50ms. The sensor incorporates Kalman filtering, nonlinearity compensation and orthogonality compensation. Operating temperature spans -40 to 85°C, while storage spans -55 to 100°C; shock resistance is specified at 2000g for 0.5ms, three times per axis.
