Product overview

The BWSENSING BW-AH525C provides heading, roll and pitch measurement for integration into unmanned aircraft and other motion-control applications. It supports dynamic and static measurement and delivers output through CAN. Heading accuracy is 0.2°, while roll and pitch accuracy is 0.1°. Its measurement envelope covers pitch through ±90° and roll through ±180°. Other stated applications include satellite tracking, platform stabilization, underwater robot navigation, drilling equipment measurement and control, ocean survey instruments, unmanned vehicles and robot control.

Physical integration dimensions are specified for both a packaged product and a bare board. The packaged unit measures 60 × 59 × 29 mm; the board measures 44 × 35 × 11 mm, with possible ±1 mm variation in length and width. Electrical integration requires 9-36V DC, with operating current of 30mA and a 40mA maximum. The operating range is -40 to 85°C with temperature compensation, and storage spans -55 to 100°C. Shock resistance is 2000g for 0.5ms, with three shocks per axis.
