Product overview
The BOSHI Optical Technology M22 4.1mm Thermal Imaging Lens is an infrared objective for integration into compact uncooled thermal cameras, including payload assemblies for UAVs, robots and unmanned ground vehicles. Its optical configuration combines a 4.1mm focal length, F1.0 aperture and exposed AR coating, with detector matching specified for 640×512 arrays using 12μm pixels. The approximately 25g body uses an M22 × 0.5 threaded mounting interface, providing a defined mechanical connection for thermal imaging equipment.
The lens covers 130° diagonally, 102° horizontally and 83° vertically, supporting broad scene observation without an additional mechanical scanning assembly. Its focus range extends from 0.5m to infinity for close inspection and more distant observation. Optical specifications include transmittance above 88%, relative illumination above 80% and distortion below 45%. Operation is specified from -40℃ to +80℃, while IP67 protection applies specifically to the front element. Applications include thermal inspection, perimeter monitoring and unmanned-system search and patrol payloads.
