Tianyi is based in Xi'an and was founded in 2014. Its legal name is Xi'an Tianyi Zhifei Keji Jituan Youxian Gongsi. The company focuses on low-altitude aircraft development, manufacturing and operational services, covering aircraft and system platforms, logistics equipment, passenger eVTOL aircraft and digital education. Its hardware range includes the FT200L and FT200M flight platforms and the Yun Que ultralight sport eVTOL. In 2019, Tianyi established a technical services team and began drone application services covering inspection and surveying.
Tianyi's medium-sized vertical-takeoff-and-landing fixed-wing drone platform is intended for aerial surveying, power-sector work, agriculture and forestry. Its modular structure separates into 8 parts without tools, with electrical and mechanical connections engaging together. A single intelligent battery powers the aircraft, and Tianyi describes carrying and operation by one person as achievable. Stated specifications include a standard payload weight of 6 kg, maximum takeoff weight of 43 kg, wingspan of 4200 mm, length of 1980 mm, unloaded flight duration of 240 minutes and maximum cruise speed of 35 m/s. The stated waterproof rating is IP4. Two conflicting maximum flight heights, 6000 m and 5000 m, leave that specification unresolved.
Tianyi's education and research hardware includes drone swarm research platforms, indoor and outdoor vehicle–drone cooperative logistics platforms, onboard intelligent computing terminals and a desktop drone propulsion-system test platform. Assembly and adjustment teaching platforms cover multirotor and vertical-takeoff-and-landing fixed-wing aircraft, while other training products address maintenance, damage assessment and flight operation. Accessories include the FTRC3 intelligent remote controller, FT34000 intelligent battery, FT intelligent air-cooled charger, RT-RTK multifunction base station and FT200 parachute. Its software range covers drone mission management, teaching management, virtual simulation and low-altitude logistics algorithm simulation.
