CUAV Tech Inc., Ltd. Brings together research and development, production, and sales for open-source unmanned systems. Its company background centers on innovation in this field, with long-term relationships with PX4, ArduPilot, and Dronecode.
The company formed its own research and development team in 2015. This marked a transition from hardware-focused development toward work integrating software and hardware. In the same year, CUAV launched the Pixhack V3 open-source intelligent controller, a named hardware product from this period of its development.
CUAV's hardware range includes intelligent control systems, GPS positioning systems, and wireless links for data, images, and digital communications. Its unmanned-system solutions serve autonomous platforms including multirotor drones and vertical-takeoff-and-landing fixed-wing aircraft. The documented applications also extend to unmanned ground vehicles, unmanned surface vessels, and robots.
CUAV's 2024 releases included the SKYE 2 airspeed meter with intelligent de-icing and drainage. Other products released that year included the 7-Nano micro smart controller, the SKYE 2 Nano airspeed meter, and C-COMPASS.
