Tongchen Heguang is a cryogenic technology company based in Xi'an, Shaanxi, China. Founded in July 2023 by Shaanxi Weina Digital Technology and cryogenic engineering experts from Xi'an Jiaotong University, it develops technology for liquid-hydrogen liquefaction, densification, efficient storage, transfer and safety. Its engineering work includes the design of small and medium liquid-hydrogen storage tanks, refueling systems and fuel-supply systems, alongside liquid-hydrogen power-system conversion and refueling services for low-altitude aircraft.
Its aircraft projects include a liquid-hydrogen drone prototype that first flew in July 2024 and a tonne-class liquid-hydrogen eVTOL that completed a test flight in January 2025. In September 2025, Tongchen Heguang jointly completed a long-endurance flight trial of the Qingyao-10 liquid-hydrogen multirotor drone with the Harbin Institute of Technology Chongqing Research Institute. In October 2025, it jointly unveiled the DF60 liquid-hydrogen tiltrotor drone with Zhuimeng Aerospace (Suzhou). The company also provided fuel-cell testing services to the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in late August 2025.
