HOBBYWING is a Shenzhen-based manufacturer of brushless propulsion systems, founded in 2005. It develops, manufactures and sells drone propulsion hardware, with a wholly owned subsidiary in Huizhou and operations spanning research, testing, manufacturing and delivery. Its aviation range covers multirotors, hybrid fixed-wing aircraft with vertical takeoff, fixed-wing cruise propulsion, FPV aircraft and model aircraft. The company's civilian product portfolio also extends to propulsion systems for RC cars and boats, electric skateboards, electric scooters and electric motorcycles.

The drone range includes the XRotor X8 integrated propulsion system, introduced in 2017, alongside X6, X9 and X11 systems released during 2015–2021. During 2022–2025, HOBBYWING introduced X13, X15 and H-series high-power propulsion products as part of its development work for high-power and heavy-payload drones. It also launched P50M, P65M and P65V high-voltage propulsion packages. Supporting hardware and software development includes electronic controllers, propellers, FOC/BLDC drive algorithms and a layered, modular drone electric-drive software platform introduced in 2023.

HOBBYWING brought propulsion systems for small and medium unmanned electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft into production and sale during 2015–2021. In 2025, it began developing propulsion systems for large eVTOL aircraft, with airworthiness as a development objective. Its RC car and boat range includes XERUN, EZRUN, QUICRUN, SEAKING V4 and SEAKING PRO series, extending its brushless propulsion business across model aviation, land-based models, marine models and personal electric mobility.
