Guangxinwei Electronics develops control chips and system solutions for power electronics, focusing on digital energy conversion and intelligent motor drives. Founded in 2017, its hardware range includes MCUs, motor-control and gate-driver chips, PD fast-charging protocol chips and Sub-GHz wireless communication chips. Its applications include microinverters, intelligent lithium battery systems, DC power supplies, motor servo control and industrial wireless gateways for renewable energy, industrial automation and robotics.
Its FPV drone electronic speed controller solution uses the UM32MP56, which combines a UM32M156 MCU and a three-phase gate driver in a QFN40 package. The MCU operates at up to 60 MHz on an ARM Cortex-M0+ core. The platform uses adapted AM32 open-source firmware and supports bidirectional DShot300, allowing motor-speed telemetry to return to the flight controller for RPM filtering. Guangxinwei Electronics developed four-in-one ESC products with downstream partners covering 30A to 60A per motor.
For ESC designs with separate control and driver components, the company offers the UM32M156 MCU in QFN20 or QFN28 packages alongside the UM6032Q gate driver. The driver supports a 250V voltage rating and 1.5A drive current, with built-in hardware dead-time protection. This configuration provides an upgrade path for existing discrete-component ESC designs.
