Founded in 2016, Qingdao Zhifei UAV develops and produces medium and large AI drones for industrial applications and specialized operations. Based at Zhongnan High-Tech Industrial Park in Qingdao, the company combines research and development, production and after-sales support. Its technical team draws on personnel from Qingdao University of Science and Technology and the University of Science and Technology Beijing, with four team members selected for Qingdao's talent pool.
Qingdao Zhifei UAV's civilian hardware range includes urban and forest firefighting drones, emergency rescue aircraft, supply delivery drones and heavy-load transport aircraft. It also produces bird dispersal drones, patrol and search aircraft, power line inspection and line stringing drones, logistics drones, crewed aircraft and drones for specialized operations. These categories serve fire response, rescue, goods transport, infrastructure work and aerial search. Its development of specialized drones incorporates multi-sensor fusion and AI autonomous flight in complex environments containing multiple obstacles.
