G-FLY Tech. Is based in Zhejiang, China, and develops aviation motors for UAV and eVTOL propulsion. Its hardware range includes a lightweight series of 2–52 kW drive motors, along with supporting controllers and propellers. The FLASH series is designed around propeller thrust characteristics, combining low rotational speed, high torque and lightweight construction through its electromagnetic and structural design.
For the FLASH series, G-FLY Tech. Claims an average efficiency advantage of 4% over competing motors at maximum takeoff weight, during acceleration and during extended operation, approaching 6% near peak power. It also claims that producing the same thrust requires 65%–80% of the electrical power used by competing motors. Some products have been applied in eVTOL aircraft with payloads of 500 kg or more. Expansion into tonne-class UAV applications is a future aim.
