Product overview

The YANGDA Storm Eye-30IE-M50 combines visible-light imaging, thermal observation and laser ranging in a three-axis gimbal payload for inspection, monitoring and emergency response. Its sensor configuration comprises a 30x optical zoom EO camera, a 640×512 thermal imager with a 50mm lens, and a laser rangefinder with a maximum range of up to 5km. AI recognition and automatic target tracking support observation of moving targets. The combined gimbal and camera weigh 1,392g, making this equipment a payload for host-platform integration.

A quick-release mechanism enables tool-free installation, while pitch travel of ±90°, roll travel of ±45° and unlimited yaw provide camera pointing movement. Supported integration includes VTOL and multirotor aircraft, PX4 and ArduPilot flight controls, MAVLink communication and YDlink camera control software. Interfaces include PWM, S.Bus, UART and Ethernet. Third-party camera and drone control systems must support MAVLink and suitable interfaces for adaptation or modification. The payload requires 12V input, with static current of 1.0A and dynamic current of 3.3A at that voltage.

Ethernet video output and MP4 recording provide 1080P or 720P at 30fps, alongside JPG photography at 1920×1080. Local storage supports class 10 TF cards up to 128G in FAT32 or ex FAT format. The payload working temperature is -25°C to +60°C. Thermal detection reaches 6389 meters for a 4.2×1.8m car target. Human laser ranging exceeds 1500m for a 1.75m×0.75m target with visibility no less than 5km, diffuse reflectance over 0.3 and humidity below 80%.
