The Xingkai 8.5G 25mW FPV VTX Video Transmitte is a video transmitter module for integration into an FPV drone. Its physical architecture uses Rogers 4350B RF PCB material, RF power amplifiers and a heat dissipation design. The module measures 36X25X9mm and weighs 14.5g, with mounting hole dimensions of 20 X 31mm. An SMA antenna connector and Jst 6 Pin cable connector define its connection interfaces. Electrical integration accommodates 7–28V input and a 5V output, with a 6S battery suggested.
The transmitter is rated at 25mW and provides 64CH, with frequency coverage of 7.2~8.5G and customizable frequency combinations in 1MHz steps. It supports the SA protocol, with custom protocols available. A single button controls band, channel and power selection, while LEDs communicate settings; PIT mode is entered by holding the button during startup. Microphone support is absent. An antenna must be installed before power is applied because operation without one may damage the power amplifier. Listed consumption is 90mA at 12V and 40mA at 28V.
