The TA-Q3 is intended to inspect cracks and blockages in dark sewage, rainwater and urban utility pipelines without GPS signals.
Visual and laser radar navigation support automatic flight. The platform can carry gas sensors and a wide-angle inspection camera together.
The minimum applicable pipeline section is listed as 2 m wide by 1.5 m high, or 2.4 m in diameter.
Matched inspection-analysis software supports position calibration, defect tagging and data screening, with reports available through a web page or Microsoft Word.
