The T-MOTOR MN501-S IP45 Multirotor Fixed Wing UAV Motor KV240 belongs to the Navigator motor range and provides propulsion for multirotor, VTOL and fixed-wing aircraft. Its applications include aerial photography, cargo drones, tethered operation, mapping and inspection. The physical design combines a bell-shaped canopy with centrifugal cooling and a 24N28P configuration. Measuring Φ55.6*33.9mm, the motor weighs 170g including cable. Construction features include imported 696ZZ bearings, an anti-rust-treated silicon steel stator, temperature-resistant copper wire and magnets, and IP45 ingress protection. Regular lubrication is advised.
The KV240 configuration uses 6-12S LiPo power and has an AIR 40A ESC recommendation, with recommended propeller sizes of 14-15 / 20-22 inches. Its shaft diameters are 6mm internally and 4mm externally, and its lead cable is 16AWG*150mm. Mounting threads extending inside the motor must be ≤5mm. Idle current is 0.9A at 18V; peak current of 25A and maximum power of 1200W each carry a 180s qualification. Supply consists of one motor in the selected KV configuration and one hardware pack.
