Product overview
The AXR 8815 MG-D is a standard servo for model steering, control-surface movement and mechanical actuation. Its configuration combines a coreless motor, stainless steel gears and two bearings in a 30 × 10 × 29.6 mm package weighing 23.5 g. A 250 mm cable provides the stated connection length. Integration requires matching the supply, PWM signal, mounting-hole positions and servo-arm connection. Mount fabrication also requires the final installation drawing and interface version, because dimensional references can differ between drawings and specifications.
The servo accepts 4.8–8.4 V and specifies PWM operation at 333 Hz. At 8.4 V, stall torque is 15 kg·cm, no-load speed is 0.096 s/60°, and stall current is 3.3 A; rated torque is 5 kg·cm. Sustained-load selection must account for rated torque and duty cycle. The 1520 µs reference pulse differs from the listed 1500 µs positional midpoint, so center and usable travel depend on the controller and delivered version. Initial setup requires reduced load and sufficient supply headroom for transient current.

| Center-position qualification | The 1520 µs reference pulse and 1500 µs positional midpoint are both specified; establish center position and usable travel for the controller and delivered version.Center position and usable travel depend on the controller and delivered version. |
| Load limitation | Select sustained loads using rated torque and duty cycle; do not treat stall torque as continuous torque.Stall torque is not a continuous-load rating. |
| Voltage-range qualification | The operating-voltage range defines permitted supply voltage. |
| Mounting dimensions qualification | Drawings and specifications may use different dimensional references; establish the final mounting drawing and interface version before fabrication. Before fabricating mounting parts. |
| Integration requirements | Check supply, pulse width, mounting holes and servo-arm connection. Establish center, direction and mechanical travel before progressively applying the working load.Initial commissioning with the load removed or limited. |
| Electrical and mechanical precautions | Allow supply-current headroom and avoid cable voltage drop, reversed polarity and sustained operation against mechanical stops.Supply sizing must accommodate transient current. |
