Product overview
Zhuhai SV Tech Co., Ltd.’s AXR 8460 MG-D is a miniature servo intended to move fixed-wing control surfaces and other mechanisms with limited installation space. Its architecture combines an iron-core motor, stainless steel gears and two bearings within a 23.5 × 11.8 × 27.9 mm body weighing 16.7 g. A 250 mm cable provides the electrical connection. Installation planning must account for output-shaft position, mounting-hole spacing, connector clearance and servo-arm geometry; increasing arm length reduces the force available at the linkage.
The servo accepts 4.8–8.4 V power and PWM control, with a specified operating frequency of 333 Hz. At 7.4 V, it delivers 4.6 kg·cm stall torque and a no-load speed of 0.059 s/60°, while rated torque is 1.5 kg·cm. Stall torque cannot serve as a continuous-load rating. Control setup also requires attention to the separate 1520 µs reference pulse and 1500 µs positional midpoint. Establish neutral, direction and usable travel with limited load, and provide electrical headroom for transient current before applying the working load.

| Continuous-load limitation | Stall torque is not a continuous-load rating; continuous-duty selection requires rated torque and duty-cycle consideration. The permitted voltage range does not imply measured performance at every voltage. |
| Installation space and linkage | Installation requires checks of output-shaft position, mounting-hole spacing and connector clearance. A longer servo arm reduces available output force. |
| Neutral position and travel | The 1520 µs reference pulse and 1500 µs positional midpoint are separately specified; neutral position and usable travel depend on the controller and delivered version. |
| Mounting dimensions | Drawings and specification dimensions may use different reference points; mounting-part fabrication requires the final installation drawing and interface version. |
| Integration and commissioning | Check supply, pulse widths, mounting holes and servo-arm connection. Establish neutral, direction and mechanical travel before progressively applying working load. Allow supply headroom for transient current and avoid cable voltage drop, reversed connections and sustained loading against mechanical stops.Initial setup with the load removed or limited |
