The STARTRC T8 Tyro is a compact flight platform for beginners entering FPV racing and freestyle flying. Its physical architecture combines a 26 g micro frame with durable plastic and lightweight aluminum alloy components. The reinforced frame provides collision protection described as more than 90%, while the aircraft supports indoor and outdoor operation. An onboard 1200 TVL FPV camera supplies a live first-person view for maneuvering and aerobatics, and the aircraft can perform 360-degree flips.
The ready-to-fly configuration supplies the T8 aircraft, an eight-channel remote controller and two replaceable 2S 7.6 V LiHv batteries. Flight duration is approximately 12–15 minutes per battery, with 24–30 minutes total across the pair; that combined duration requires changing batteries. The controller has a maximum effective distance of up to 200 m. The supplied integration centers on flight control, battery power and onboard imaging, with the camera also supporting aerial photographs and video.
