Product overview
The SuperDock M400S is the battery-swap edition of StrawBerry Innovation's M400 autonomous dock, with deep adaptation for the M400. When the drone lands, a high-torque swap mechanism developed in-house replaces its battery in about 100 seconds so it can take off again, with no long wait for charging. Four internal battery bays charge packs in rotation, which keeps a fully charged battery ready for frequent or urgent tasks. The swap mechanism needs no calibration after deployment, after relocation, or after vibration during vehicle transport.
The enclosure measures 1.4m×1.2m×1.8m closed and 3.0m×1.2m×1.8m open. It weighs 319kg and is rated IP55. The dock's height is tightly controlled, so it fits through ordinary freight elevators and can be deployed without a large crane. An industrial air conditioner with a cooling capacity of at least 800W manages the internal temperature, and the operating range is -20℃ to 50℃. Smart charging scheduling lets the dock run at full load on ordinary 220V utility power with only 3kW. Maximum power is 3000W, maximum charging power is 2200W, the air conditioner draws 300W, and standby power is 50W. Emergency runtime is up to 300 minutes.
A dual-antenna fixed RTK base station provides full-system, full-frequency positioning and heading on BDS, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and SBAS. The dock has two 1080P black-light full-color monitoring cameras, and video transmission latency is about 0.3s. Relay flights across multiple docks are supported: an aircraft can take off at A, swap at B and land at C. Unlimited hop flights rely on a PSDK onboard cloud box, which provides precise landing when remote-controller or 4G/5G signals are weak. The maximum operating radius is 12 km. That figure was measured at about 25°C with no wind, a 15% safety battery reserve, only an H30T payload, a round-trip speed of about 15 m/s and 18 minutes of hovering. Payload, environment, operating method and firmware version all affect results.
