The SuperDock M4 battery-swap version is a lightweight automatic dock for unattended drone work that runs often. Battery turnaround is listed in two ways: charging takes about 60 minutes, and a battery swap takes about 100 seconds. The dock's battery bay has four slots. With a PSDK onboard cloud box added, the dock supports unlimited leapfrog flights. It also supports night landing. A separate feature is a multi-colour flowing fill-light status lamp. Calibration is done in software, so no extra remote controller is needed.
Closed, the enclosure is under 1.0 m × 0.6 m × 0.9 m. Open, it is under 1.85 m × 0.6 m × 0.9 m. The battery-swap version weighs about 110 kg, and the charging version weighs about 90 kg. The dock is rated IP55 and works from -20 ℃ to 50 ℃. A 450 W compressor-type industrial air conditioner controls the temperature inside. Standby power is 50 W, maximum power is 650 W, and maximum charging power is 150 W. Emergency operating time is up to 300 minutes.
The communications module is built into the dock body. A dual-antenna fixed RTK base station gives full-system, full-frequency high-precision positioning and heading across BDS, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS and SBAS. Video transmission latency is about 0.3 seconds. Maximum inspection range depends on the regulatory standard and applies with no interference and no obstruction. It is 10 km under FCC and 6 km under CE, SRRC or MIC.
