The HYUCX F13m is a handheld RF instrument for detecting drone activity across 300 MHz–13.4 GHz. Its receiver combines high sensitivity and wide bandwidth with a signature database covering more than 100 drone types. Full-band scanning uses a minimum frequency step of 1 MHz, with real-time spectrum output and simultaneous display of drone type, frequency and signal strength. Supported signals include analog and digital FPV video transmission. Remote ID reception operates through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, supporting GB 46750-2025, ASTM F3411-22a and ASD-STAN prEN 4709-002.
The unit weighs 450 g with battery and antenna and has a replaceable lithium-ion battery, providing approximately eight hours of operation on one battery at room temperature. Type-C, Bluetooth and GPIO provide external connections for data transfer, database upgrades and integration with a backpack-mounted countermeasure device. Supported terminal platforms depend on the included software. The enclosure carries an IP54 rating, and operating temperature spans −25°C to +55°C. Maximum detection range reaches up to 5 km under typical full-power transmission and open-area line-of-sight conditions; the specific FPV example uses a 5 W analog video transmitter in an open-area line-of-sight environment.
