Product overview
The EV-PEAK UD2 supports battery charging for large agricultural, heavy-lift and cargo UAVs, particularly those using high-capacity 18S systems. Its two channels accommodate up to two 14S–20S LiPo, LiHV or compatible smart UAV batteries simultaneously. Total output reaches 3000W at AC 220V; AC 110V reduces the available maximum to approximately half. FAST, NORMAL and SLOW modes provide 50A, 30A and 15A settings, with up to 50A on a single channel. Connecting a compatible battery triggers recognition, a countdown and automatic charging without a manual Start command.
The 300 × 180 × 215 mm charger weighs 6.8 kg and combines a metal main body with plastic upper and lower housings and a side-mounted cooling fan. Battery connections use AS150U charging and MX3.0 balance interfaces. UAVCAN is the default communication protocol; DroneCAN can be configured for battery system requirements, while RS485 is available as a custom option. The LCD displays electrical readings, battery status, temperature, errors, cycle count and elapsed charge/discharge time. Voice guidance covers charging status, next steps, errors and troubleshooting.
Bluetooth control works through an Android app or WeChat Mini Program on a compatible mobile device. A built-in wireless charging area serves compatible mobile devices, while UAV batteries normally charge through dedicated connectors. Protection functions cover over-charge, over-voltage, over-current, reverse polarity, short circuits and overheating. An 18S 30000mAh battery charging example takes around 28 minutes from approximately 30% to 100% SOC at AC 220V, FAST mode at 50A and 25°C ambient temperature. Charging time varies with battery condition and operating conditions.
