Product overview
The DolphinRC 5.8G 2.5W VTX provides video transmission with NTSC and PAL format support. Its six selectable transmission settings are PIT, 25mW, 400mW, 800mW, 1500mW and 2500mW, allowing output power selection within that defined set. The transmitter incorporates an output power self-test and quick frequency locking at startup. An MMCX connector provides the antenna connection, while IRC is the specified VTX protocol. These interfaces and settings define the component’s electrical and video integration requirements.
The physical package combines an all-metal CNC enclosure with a 36mm × 36mm footprint, 6.5mm thickness and 14.5g weight. Its installation-hole specification is 30.5×30.5/ M3, providing a concrete mounting requirement for integration space. The supply range is 7–36V, and the operating temperature range is −10 to 60°C. At 12V, current is limited to ≤450mA at 800mW output and ≤850mA at 2500mW output; each current figure applies to its stated power setting.
