Product overview
The Wuxi Beiwei Sensing Technology BWA500C is a single-axis shaft-angle sensor for angular measurement, with applications including aircraft control-surface measurement, wind-tunnel testing and platform leveling. It measures the Y axis over ±180°, assigning positive values to counterclockwise rotation and negative values to clockwise rotation. Resolution is 0.01°, and output rate is ≤500 Hz. The configuration offers a choice of RS232, RS485 or TTL output, adjustable serial communication rates of 2400–921600, and automatic calibration.
The sensor uses an anodized magnesium-aluminum alloy housing, an aviation connector and four M4 mounting screws. Its L60 × W59 × H29 mm envelope excludes the connector, so integration space must also accommodate that connection; actual product dimensions take precedence. Weight is ≤300 g, with IP67 protection, operation from -40°C to +85°C and storage from -55°C to +100°C. Accuracy is 0.03° without mounting error when X is 0°, or 0.1° with mounting error when X remains within ±50° and Y within ±40°.
