Product overview
The Beiwei Sensing BW-VG50 provides dynamic and static inclination measurement for integration into unmanned aircraft, robots, stabilized platforms and machinery. Its packaged sensor body measures 55 mm long, 37 mm wide and 24 mm high, providing a compact envelope for equipment installation. Weight is 130g including the cable, while weight including packaging is 210g. Selectable RS232, RS485 or TTL output gives integrators interface options when choosing the sensor configuration for a host system.
Measurement coverage extends to ±90º in pitch and ±180º in roll, with 0.01° resolution. Accuracy depends on measurement mode: 3° dynamically and 0.3° statically. Signal processing combines Kalman filtering with nonlinearity, orthogonality and gyroscope drift compensation, plus a dedicated bias-tracking algorithm. The temperature range is -40°C to +85°C. Shock resistance is specified at 2000g for 0.5ms, three times per axis, and mean time between failures is at least 90000 hours.
