The Zhengzhou Zhengfang Technology 14S42AH is a smart battery pack for supplying UAV power. Its physical design combines a rubber base intended to protect against drops, high-temperature-resistant materials, a hand-carry arrangement and provisions for heat dissipation. The integrated SPower management system supports lifetime data logging and automatic internal balancing that maintains cell voltage differences within 20mV. Information can be accessed through USB serial, WiFi or CAN, while software updates use a USB connection to a computer. Charging alarms cover overvoltage, overcurrent and excessive temperature. Automatic storage activates after prolonged non-use, and sleep activates when the battery is switched on but unused. All charge-indicator LEDs turn red after a specified number of uses to indicate battery life. Temperature limits are -10°C to +60°C during discharge, 0°C to +45°C during charging, and -10°C to +35°C during storage.
