Dianying Technology Group’s EHG-2500 combines vertical takeoff and landing with a fixed-wing layout for reconnaissance missions. Its modular, compact airframe supports portability and changes of mission equipment. Stated endurance is 150 minutes, with reconnaissance coverage of 100 square kilometres per mission. The payload system accommodates high-definition and infrared thermal cameras, modular loudspeakers and lighting, with real-time data return. Four-channel and dual-channel sensor gimbals and a lighting module provide payload choices. Platform connectivity supports cruising along planned routes, alongside one-touch return.
The aircraft incorporates multidirectional millimetre-wave radar and dynamic obstacle avoidance, backed by dual flight systems. An optional parachute supports low-altitude deployment at maximum takeoff weight and can reduce touchdown speed to 6 m/s. The battery system supports 1C charging, heating, hot replacement and automatic backup switching in dual-battery operation. Charging from 30% to 90% takes 45 minutes. The integrated handheld ground station weighs no more than 1.25 kg with its external battery and combines a 7-inch display with IP54 protection and a −20°C to 50°C operating range.
