The Yifei Zhineng Seagull S23 combines vertical takeoff and landing with fixed-wing flight for aerial surveying, power-line inspection and pipeline inspection. Its integrally molded carbon-fiber composite fuselage measures 1250mm long, and its wingspan is 2300mm. Tool-free quick assembly and disassembly supports deployment. The lightweight shell weighs 2kg; empty aircraft weight excluding the battery is 6kg. The platform has a custom propulsion system and fully autonomous flight capability, with a maximum payload of 2kg and maximum takeoff weight of 9kg.
The standard flight-platform package includes one S23 airframe set, a remote controller, a 30AH battery and charging equipment. Propulsion components comprise four EF Motor motors and four EF Propeller propellers, designated CW/CCW. An installation tool kit and customized onboard wiring harness are also supplied. The package includes a documentation set containing a conformity certificate and user manual, together with a customized packing box. Aircraft parameters can be customized, with the delivered specification governed by the delivery contract.
Maximum endurance is 180min with the aircraft unloaded. Cruise speed is 80km/h, maximum horizontal flight speed is 90km/h, and maximum climb and descent speeds are 5m/s and 3m/s respectively. Maximum flight radius is 180km. The S23 has a maximum takeoff altitude of 4000m above sea level, Force 7 wind resistance and IP55 protection. Its operating ambient temperature range is -20°C to 50°C. The endurance figure applies to unloaded operation, while the separate maximum payload rating is 2kg.
